"My martial arts journey began in the year 2000 in a humble garage in Hawaii, where I first discovered the intricate art of Jiu-Jitsu. In 2002, I moved to Las Vegas to train under the esteemed Professor Amilcar “Mica” Cipili, marking a significant step in my Jiu-Jitsu career. Despite the challenges, life threw my way, including a move back to Hawaii and a life-changing heart transplant in Los Angeles in 2011, my dedication to Jiu-Jitsu never wavered.

During my eight-year sojourn in Hawaii, I expanded my combat skills by delving into the world of Mixed Martial Arts. I trained rigorously with the renowned 808 Top Team, under the guidance of the legendary Ronald “The Machine Gun” Jhun. This period was a testament to my adaptability and eagerness to learn diverse combat disciplines.

In October 2013, I came full circle, returning to Las Vegas to reunite with my original mentor, Professor Amilcar “Mica” Cipili, and proudly representing the Gracie Humaita team. This reunion reignited my competitive spirit, propelling me back into the Jiu-Jitsu competition arena in 2014.

My perseverance and dedication culminated in earning my black belt in 2019, a milestone that symbolizes my deep commitment and understanding of Jiu-Jitsu. Since then, I have proudly earned multiple national and international accolades, including an illustrious IBJJF Worlds No-Gi medal at the black belt level.

As an instructor, I bring a wealth of experience and a resilient spirit, embodying the true essence of Jiu-Jitsu both on and off the mats. My journey reflects a blend of passion, resilience, and the pursuit of excellence, qualities I endeavor to instill in every student I teach."
